Sky-High Kite Festival

Co-Presented by the City of Sugar Creek and the City of Independence, this inaugural “Sky-High Kite Festival” will have you gazing at the colossal kites flown by Great American Kites & Events! Festival-goers are welcome to relax in the park with picnic blankets, chairs and food.
Vendors and food trucks will be onsite and small kites will be available for purchase. These incredibly-massive kites will truly be a sight to see…and give a whole new meaning to “Go Fly a Kite” at this free event. No pets or glass containers allowed.
