You'll find the Sugar Creek Fire Department at 1001 Heroes Way in the heart of the city. The Department maintains 2 Pumpers with full fire suppression capabilities. All Firefighters hold structural and Hazmat certificates as well as a Missouri state certified Emergency Medical Technician's license. The Department also operates a Rescue boat on 8 miles of the Missouri River with a Firefighters tried in water rescue and Rescue boat operations. The Department also employs a Rescue truck equipped with the newest in full auto extrication tools. Our Fire Department staffs 6 full-time Firefighters plus 20 Reserves providing around the clock protection to all citizens and businesses.
